PV L12/17 is is a box type vacuum heat treatment sintering furnace designed for material sintering under vacuum up to 1600 ºC with chamber capacity of 18 Liters (12″x8″x8″). The furnace structure was built in dual steel case, vacuum sealing type, which makes it could be working under Vacuum (up to 10-5mbar), Nitrogen and other inert gases atmosphere situation, and the chamber insulated with Energy-saving 1800 grade fibrous alumina insulation, heating elements are powerful MoSi2 rods, It is ideal for new materials sintering under vacuum or gas atmospheres.

Product Overview

Vacuum Sintering furnace is a type of furnace in which the product in the furnace is surrounded by a vacuum during processing. Features a sealing chamber with high alumina content fiber insulation and powerful heating elements up to 1600 degree C. We build the vacuum furnace structure with dual steel structure, welded and oil leak tested chamber to ensure air tightness. Dual door design make the chamber sealing condition much better. Max vacuum level reach to 10-5 torr with Diffusion vacuum pump unit. Multiple gas inlets and outlets with stainless steel ball valves. The vacuum furnace provides the perfect heat treatment environment for various procedures in many laboratories, providing the controlled temperature and atmosphere specific projects require.

Safety Measures
  • Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
  • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
  • Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes
  • However, toxic or explosive gasses are not recommended for use with this vacuum heat treatment furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
  • Ultimate vacuum level can achieve 10-5 mbar with hose barb connections.
