Product Overview

Laboratory tube furnace is widely used in vacuum sintering, atmosphere protection sintering. The laboratory tube furnace could be purged with inert gases such as Argon, Nitrogen, Helium, also Synthetic Air, Oxygen and a low amount of H2 diluted in N or Ar. In addition, the tube furnace could be used to heat the samples in vacuum. It has several purposes as in nanotechnology department from treating carbon based materials, oxidize Cu foils, to sintering resins, etc..

Application Notes
  • Don’t fill any explosive gasses such as Hydrogen or Methane into the furnace tube without necessary safety controls and supervision.
  • Laboratory tube furnaces with quartz tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars / 3 psi / 0.02 MPa.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
