PTR D100/440/12 is a ceramic oxides calcining rotary tube furnace, features single heating zones with length of 440mm, rotating speed 0-10rpm variable. 4 mixing blades build in the tube for material stirring during heating, Tmax 1200℃. It is mianly build for heat treatment of particulate materials continuous flowing at high temperatures.

PTR D100/440/12 is a 1200°C Rotary tube furnace, particularly suitable for particulate materials heat treatment processes such as calcining in which continuously flowing at high temperatures under vacuum or atmosphere protection sintering, vacuum film coating, CVD experiments and physical components testing for rare earth preparation, electronic lighting, crystal annealing, biological ceramics, electronic ceramics, special alloy, magnetic material, precision casting and metal heat treatment.

Safety
    • Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
    • Overheat protection shuts down the tube furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
    • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
    • Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes
  • Don’t fill any explosive gasses such as Hydrogen or Methane into the Rotating furnace tube without necessary safety controls and supervision.
  • Rotary Tube furnace with quartz tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars / 3 psi / 0.02 MPa.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
