Product Overview

Bottom loading furnace, also called elevator hearth furnace or top hat furnace. Features stable electrically driven bottom loading system, easy for sample loading and unloading, all sides heating achieves an outstanding temperature uniformity. Constructed dual steel housing, stability and low temperature leakage, round vertical chamber lined with 1850# high alumina ceramic fiber. Our laboratory standard elevator furnace covers Tmax 1750 degrees Celsius with capacities up to 96 liters, which is suitable for multiple heat treatments such as calcination, sintering and other processes on new materials, ceramics in labs and industrial. Safety
  • Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Overheat protection shuts down the bottom loading furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
  • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
  • Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes
  • However, toxic or explosive gasses are not recommended for use with bottom loading furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
